Description Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist, Rape Treatment Center/Stuart House
- Santa Monica UCLA Health is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the Rape Treatment Center (RTC) and Stuart House at UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center in a part-time capacity.
In this role you will:
Provide outpatient psychiatric evaluation and treatment for Adult patients within the Rape Treatment Center and Child/Adolescent patients within Stuart House Deliver direct patient care through both in-person and telehealth visits Utilize a trauma-informed, integrated care model in collaboration with therapists and multidisciplinary team members Participate in case review meetings and interdisciplinary care planning, as requested Document patient encounters and complete coding accurately within Epic and in accordance with UCLA Health standards Support a safe, respectful, and patient-centered care environment aligned with UCLA Health service standards At UCLA Health, you can: Utilize your clinical expertise to support a highly specialized and vulnerable patient population Collaborate with some of the world's top physicians and researchers at the David Geffen School of Medicine Work within a highly-innovative practice environment, including Epic Systems Deliver leading-edge patient care Grow your medical career with one of California's top hospitals The University of California, Los Angeles is required to provide an estimate of the salary range for this role. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Salary offers are determined based on candidate qualifications and experience. The annual salary for this position is $295,000 annual base salary and will be prorated for a 0.2 FTE at $59,000 annual base. Qualifications Qualifications MD or DO Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry California licensed or license eligible DEA license or license eligible Demonstrated experience or strong interest in trauma-informed psychiatric care, required Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment, required Training or experience in trauma-informed care or sexual assault response, preferred Living and Working in Santa Monica / West Los Angeles Santa Monica offers a unique blend of coastal living and urban convenience, with access to beautiful beaches, walkable neighborhoods, and a vibrant dining and cultural scene.
