Job Description
Adelphi is seeking a Psychiatrist to provide tele-services at a facility in Tuolumne, CA. The ideal candidate will assess remote psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment services to clients via secure Telehealth platforms. This role supports continuity of care by providing timely mental health services, including medication management and clinical assessments.

Mon-Fri, up to 16 hours a weekRequirements:
- Active, unrestricted medical license (MD or DO) in California
- Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, specializing in child/adolescent care
- Possess a valid Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) license in the State of California.
- Be licensed and enrolled as a Medi-Cal provider in the State of California
- Have or obtain a unique National Provider Identification (NPI) number
- Experience in tele-psychiatry or remote behavioral health services for a minimum of 1 year (full time preferred)
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Possess valid third-party billable provider certifications for Medicare, Medi-Cal and private insurance.
Work Requirements:
- Ability to provide services remotely via secure Telehealth systems
- Access to reliable high-speed internet and private workspace
- Adherence to scheduled patient appointments and availability requirements
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations via telehealth
- Diagnose mental health conditions and develop treatment plans
- Provide medication management and monitor patient progress
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams as needed
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and client specific regulations
- Utilize approved telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Any other duties as assigned
