1485428 Position Overview Tekberry is seeking a Radiologist Assistant 2 to support our client, Stanford University, within their Department of Radiology. This role works under limited supervision of a radiologist or physician to support diagnostic imaging, patient care, and clinical research initiatives. Responsibilities Assist physicians with complex medical imaging procedures , including 3D reformations and post-processing Operate imaging systems (MRI, CT, PET, Nuclear Medicine) to generate diagnostic images Support clinical research studies , including design, execution, and data collection Transfer, position, and instruct patients on imaging procedures Provide technical consultation to physicians, researchers, and technologists Perform post-processing of volumetric imaging data and track quantitative measurements Maintain accurate documentation for procedures, scheduling, and billing Assist in development of SOPs, QA programs, and safety procedures Support preparation of cases for publication and research initiatives Required Qualifications Associate's/Technical degree + 3 5+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent) Advanced knowledge of: Cross-sectional anatomy and physiology Medical imaging systems and post-processing Imaging safety, sterile technique, and patient care Strong experience with MRI, CT, PET, or Nuclear Medicine imaging systems Ability to identify imaging artifacts and support detailed diagnostic requests Excellent communication and collaboration skills Required Certifications & Licenses Must hold California technologist license One of the following required: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) ARMRIT California Radiologic Technologist certification Nuclear Medicine certification (NMTCB or ARRT-N) preferred Advanced registry (CT, MR, etc.) strongly preferred BLS certification preferred Top Requirements PET/MR Technologist (preferred) Nuclear Medicine Technologist (secondary option) MR/CT Technologist (if above not available) Must be licensed in California Work Environment & Physical Requirements 100% onsite in medical imaging environment Exposure to imaging equipment (MRI, CT, PET, X-ray) and associated conditions Frequent sitting and equipment operation; occasional lifting (up to 40+ lbs) May be exposed to noise, high magnetic fields, and clinical environments We need hard-working, reliable employees.
