Certification Korean Cultural competency DEA License Medical License Working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds Managing patient records BC/BE Family Medicine General practice Full Job Description Family Physician Livingstone Community Health Clinic is a Federally Qualified Health Clinic Look-A-Like (FQHC-LAL) located in Stanton, dedicated to serving all patients regardless of ability to pay. Our mission is "To share love and support for the people in our community, including those who are underprivileged, uninsured and disabled, by providing medical, dental, physical, and emotional care that enhances health and well-being." We are currently looking for a compassionate and dedicated Board Eligible or Board Certified Family Physician to join our team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Examine and provide treatments to injuries and refer patients to other physicians when needed Give appropriate advice for healthy habits (diet, hygiene etc.) and preventative actions to promote overall health Conduct routine check-ups for existing patients and establish care with new patients Order and interpret lab and diagnostic imaging tests Prescribe appropriate medications and refills as needed Complete medical paperwork for patients and insurances as required Thoroughly document patient's medical records within our EHR system Collaborate with other physicians, physician assistants/nurse practitioners and medical assistants to form a high performing medical team
Qualifications:
Must be minimum Board Eligible Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine Maintain active California Physician License and DEA License Experience with EHR system (eCW Preferred) Must be BLS Certified or willing to obtain BLS Certification Ability to communicate and work well with all cultural and ethnic populations in the community Respond appropriately and provide fair and equal treatment to all patients, regardless of status Must be eligible and open to contracting with CalOptima (if not already credentialed with them) Fluent Spanish and/or Korean speaker (Strongly Preferred)
