Positions:
1 Position Overview We are seeking a Locum Tenens Non-Invasive Cardiologist (MD/DO) to provide coverage in Grand Junction, Colorado. This assignment runs for 3 months and involves outpatient cardiology care and related clinical responsibilities in a collaborative, established practice. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive cardiac evaluations using medical history, physical examination, and diagnostic testing. Diagnose and manage non-invasive cardiovascular conditions. Communicate effectively with patients about treatment options, questions, and preventive care. Document all patient encounters accurately for compliance, continuity of care, quality, safety, and billing. Collaborate with the cardiology team, offering leadership and guidance as needed. Refer patients to additional specialty services when clinically appropriate. Provide availability for office visits, electronic communication, and call coverage per facility policy. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain a patient-centered approach. Adhere to the hospitals mission, values, and care standards. Required Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Compassionate, approachable demeanor Excellent clinical judgment High professionalism and confidentiality Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
Qualifications Education:
MD or DO from an accredited medical or osteopathic school Residency-trained in an applicable specialty (Cardiology)
Certifications & Licensure:
Active state medical license (Colorado or eligible to obtain) Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology Active DEA license BLS or ACLS required per hospital/clinic policy
