Clinic Physician (MD/DO) Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center (AVRMC) Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care—while enjoying the pace and impact of practicing in a close-knit community. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Clinic Physician (MD/DO) to join our team and help meet the growing healthcare needs of our community. Position Summary As a Clinic Physician, you will provide comprehensive medical care to a diverse patient population, including diagnosis, treatment, and preventative care. You will work collaboratively with nursing staff, specialists, and support teams to ensure high-quality outcomes and continuity of care. This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on community health while contributing to clinical excellence and program development. Key Responsibilities Patient Care & Clinical Excellence Provide direct patient care including physical exams, evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment Prescribe medications and develop appropriate treatment plans Manage both acute and chronic conditions across a defined patient population Promote preventative care, health education, and wellness initiatives Care Coordination & Collaboration Refer patients to specialists and ancillary services as appropriate Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care Direct and coordinate care activities of nursing and support staff Leadership & Teaching (as applicable) Train and supervise medical students and residents, as appropriate Support clinical program development or specialty service lines Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance programs Compliance & Professional Practice Adhere to all departmental policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Maintain high standards for safety, infection control, and patient care quality Participate in health promotion and community outreach initiatives Qualifications Required Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) 3-5 years of directly related clinical experience (Residency training in a relevant specialty may be considered) Current Federal DEA Certification Active Medical License (Colorado or eligible) Board Certified or Board Eligible in a relevant specialty We are seeking physicians who are patient-focused, collaborative, and committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care.
