Bridgeport, ConnecticutPosition Highlights:
Practice at a Level II Trauma Center treating Level I acuity patients64-bed emergency department with more than 60,000 annual visits473-bed community teaching hospitalStrong physician and nursing retention with collaborative cultureScribe support during busiest shiftsSeparate Fast Track/Urgent Care area for improved patient flowExcellent specialty backup including intensivists, trauma surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, and hospitalistsAcademic and teaching environment
Responsibilities:
Provide emergency medical care for patients of varying acuityEvaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuriesCollaborate with multidisciplinary care teamsParticipate in departmental quality and patient care initiativesMaintain accurate and timely documentation
Qualifications:
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency MedicineActive Connecticut license or ability to obtain
