job summary: Join a Top-Tier Global Pharma Leader in Groton, CT, as a Bench Scientist III. In this critical role, you will leverage your expertise in anatomic and clinical pathology to ensure the data integrity of GLP and non-GLP studies. Your work will directly impact candidate selection and first-in-human study readiness, supporting vital early research and target safety investigations.
location:
Groton, Connecticut job type: Contract salary: $55 - 57 per hour work hours: 9 to 5 education: Bachelors responsibilities: Conduct independent Quality Control (QC) of anatomic and clinical pathology data, specimens, and reports. Ensure all activities strictly comply with GLP, SOPs, EHS standards, and animal welfare regulations. Maintain rigorous study reporting timelines to support drug safety and research development. Contribute to the data integrity of DSRD publications through meticulous QC reviews. Collaborate with Pathologists and Laboratory Managers to streamline pathology scheduling and technical workflows.
qualifications:
B.S. in Biology or a related scientific field. 5-7+ years of professional experience in a GLP laboratory or QC/research environment. Demonstrated knowledge of necropsy, histology, clinical pathology, or animal science (Can be from academic experience). #LI-MH1 skills: Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Quality Control (QC)
