Internal Medicine Primary Care Opening in CT Located in Danielson, Connecticut
- Hartford 46m About the Position A Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician is sought to join a regional community health center serving eastern Connecticut. This opportunity offers comprehensive outpatient primary care within a mission-driven organization focused on integrated, patient-centered care
- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services-Focus on continuity of care, preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and patient education-Serve patients of all ages within a collaborative primary care environment-Opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary healthcare model including medical, dental, and behavioral health services-Option for a four-day work week Practice Setting
- Regional community health center serving a 37-town rural region in eastern Connecticut-Multiple clinical sites and community outreach programs-School-based health centers and mobile care services-Team-oriented and mission-driven practice culture-Strong nursing and administrative support structure Practice Highlights
- 1:1 Medical Assistant to physician ratio-1:2 RN to physician ratio-RNs assist with education visits, triage, and refill management-Clinical faculty appointment opportunities-Medical student teaching opportunities available-Minimal call responsibilities with additional stipend-Focus on integrated, patient-centered community healthcare Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary starting at $225K+ depending on experience-Bilingual stipend available for Spanish or Haitian Creole fluency-Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance-403(b) retirement plan with employer contributions-Five weeks PTO-Nine paid holidays-32 hours CME time annually
