Not Provided Join an inpatient child and adolescent behavioral health team in Mansfield Center, CT, providing locum tenens psychiatric care from 09/07/2026 to 01/01/2027. This clinical-only assignment is full-time (40 hours/week) with shift schedule to be determined.
Clinical focus and responsibilities:
Provide psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and treatment planning for children and adolescents. Manage acute inpatient psychiatric conditions and coordinate care across disciplines. Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and collaborate with nursing, therapy, and behavioral health staff. Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation and support admissions and rounding as required.
Facility and support:
Inpatient behavioral health setting with standard resources and a multidisciplinary team. Specialty behavioral health backup and support staff available.
EMR system:
to be determined.
Qualifications and compliance:
Connecticut medical license (active or ability to obtain) and active DEA. Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry; board certification preferred. Prior experience in child and adolescent inpatient psychiatry preferred. Hospital privileges required.
Compensation and logistics:
Competitive rate (TBD). Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided.
