Job Description

This opportunity is with a well-established, privately owned urgent care organization serving the New Haven, Connecticut area . The organization is seeking multiple Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Physicians to join its Urgent Care team in the New Haven, CT area . Physicians will rotate between six local locations , all within 35 minutes of each other , and provide comprehensive urgent care services to patients of all ages. This role offers a predictable schedule, competitive hourly compensation, and a full benefits package. Qualified candidates should be comfortable performing standard urgent care procedures. Essential Responsibilities Provide urgent care services to patients of all ages Rotate between six local urgent care locations See approximately 25-50 patients per 12-hour shift Perform suturing, splinting, and standard urgent care procedures Conduct workers' compensation physicals Work either independently or alongside another provider Accurately document all encounters in the EMR ( Experity ) Adhere to clinical quality standards and patient safety protocols Qualifications MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Eligible for or active Connecticut medical license Comfortable with high-volume urgent care settings DOT certification required (or willingness to obtain after hire) Strong clinical judgment, efficiency, and communication skills
Compensation & Work Environment Schedule:
Facilities open 7 days/week, 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Work 7 shifts over a 2-week period Must be able to work 4 weekend shifts per month
