Locums About the Facility This approximately 300-bed acute care hospital and associated clinic provide obstetric and gynecologic services across inpatient and outpatient settings. The facility maintains the staffing and infrastructure necessary to support continuous coverage for obstetric and gynecologic cases. Clinical operations are conducted on-site to meet the ongoing locum tenens coverage needs of the institution. About the Facility Location Southwestern Connecticut offers a blend of coastal charm, upscale suburban vibes, and rich history, making it a popular getaway right next to New York City. Centered around Fairfield County, this area is perfect for exploring, offering everything from relaxing seaside views to vibrant town centers, and diverse outdoor recreation. About the Clinician's Workday The clinician will provide obstetric and gynecologic services across inpatient and clinic settings, working 3 to 4 days per week with clinic hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Patient volume in the clinic setting is 15 to 20 patients per day. Call coverage is required at a 1:5 call ratio, encompassing day, night, and 24-hour call assignments. Clinical documentation is completed using the Epic EMR system.
