Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Allergy Advanced Practice Provider to join our expanding outpatient team in Shelton, CT. This full-time position requires varied weekday shifts and one weekend day per month. The ideal candidate should have experience or a strong interest in managing allergic and immunologic conditions, with a focus on patient-centered care.
Requirements:
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with allergic and immunologic conditions. Conduct and interpret allergy testing. Administer and monitor allergen and oral immunotherapy. Develop individualized treatment plans and educate patients. Manage acute allergic reactions in an outpatient setting. Collaborate with physicians and clinical team for high-quality care. Maintain accurate documentation within electronic medical records.
Qualifications:
Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with an active state license. Master's degree from an accredited NP or PA program. 1-2 years of allergy, immunology, or primary care experience. Strong clinical assessment and communication skills. Compassionate and detail-oriented. Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends.
