Job Description

Neurology Physician - Shelton, CT Organization Overview As a non-profit institution affiliated with the Yale School of Medicine and other academic partners, the facility offers a broad range of clinical services including emergency care, advanced imaging, minimally invasive surgery, and behavioral health services. Position Summary The facility is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Neurologist to join its well-established and growing neuroscience team in Shelton, Connecticut . This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering a diverse clinical practice that includes general neurology and subspecialty interests. The position emphasizes quality care, collaboration, and a patient-centered approach, supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team. Essential Position Responsibilities Provide comprehensive neurological evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment for a wide range of neurological conditions. Interpret diagnostic studies including EEG, EMG, and neuroimaging as appropriate. Collaborate with primary care providers, specialists, and rehabilitation services to ensure coordinated patient care. Participate in inpatient consultations and outpatient clinic coverage. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system. Engage in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities. Promote patient education and preventive neurological health strategies.
Qualifications Education:
MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
Licensure & Certification:
Board Certified / Board Eligible in Neurology; eligible for Connecticut medical licensure.
Experience:
Prior clinical experience preferred; new graduates and recent residents are encouraged to apply. Compensation and Benefits Highly competitive salary, commensurate with experience.
