Independent Contractor About Wells Natural Medicine Wells Natural Medicine is a busy, highly sought-after naturopathic medical practice specializing in children with complex chronic conditions. Families from across the country seek our care for PANS/PANDAS, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), tickborne infections, and mold-related illness. Dr. Wells is a nationally recognized clinician in pediatric complex chronic illness, with a multi-month waitlist and patients traveling nationally for care. Currently operating as a fully naturopathic practice, we are expanding our services to integrate conventional medical treatments alongside our existing naturopathic approach. We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and detail-oriented Pediatric APRN to join our team one day per week and help bring this vision to life. This role offers mentorship and training in both the conditions we treat and the integrative therapies we use—including supplements, herbal medicine, and dietary strategies—within a highly collaborative, mission-driven practice. What a Typical Day Looks Like Approximately 6-8 patients per day in a relationship-centered care model Blend of in-person and telehealth visits Ongoing mentorship and weekly collaborative case discussions with Dr. Wells Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality medical care to children with complex chronic illnesses Perform detailed patient assessments, order and interpret labs, and develop individualized treatment plans Perform pediatric blood draws confidently Prescribe and manage conventional therapies (e.g., antibiotics) when appropriate Integrate functional and naturopathic approaches, including nutritional, herbal, and supplemental support Address co-occurring mental health concerns such as anxiety, OCD, depression, and behavioral dysregulation Collaborate closely with Dr. Wells in a team-based, family-centered model Build strong, trusting relationships with patients and families Maintain clear, timely, and thorough documentation Ideal Candidate Qualifications Licensed Pediatric APRN with prescriptive authority in Connecticut (New York a plus) Experience or strong interest in working with medically complex pediatric populations Interest in learning and growing in areas such as PANS/PANDAS, ASD, tickborne illness, mold-related illness, and integrative medicine Open-minded and collaborative, with a willingness to integrate naturopathic and conventional care models Strong interpersonal and listening skills with a compassionate, family-centered approach Organized, professional, and detail-oriented Ability to work independently while maintaining close communication within a small, dedicated team Compensation $85•125 per billable patient hour, based on experience and patient volume $45/hour during training period Why Join Us?
