Veterans TBI Examiner
PHYSICIAN OR PSYCHIATRIST
Jacksonville, FL 32207 Up to $1,400 a day - Contract Up to $1,400 a day - Contract

(The VBA does not permit Psychologists, NPs, or PAs for this Initial TBI C&P contract.)
FLEXIBILITY!
Choose your schedule between 8 am and 6 pm Mon through Fri. Military Evaluation Services (MES) is hiring a 1099 PHYSICIAN or
PSYCHIATRIST
to perform in-person interviews for America's Veterans and Service Members as part of the Veterans Benefits Administration's (VBA) disability claims process also called Compensation and Pension exams. The PHYSICIAN or
PSYCHIATRIST
will conduct an interview, review the Veteran's records, type the responses in a portal, and add a medical opinion (if requested). This process provides the support that allows the VBA to determine service-connection status and rating (monetary disbursement). The ideal PHYSICIAN or
PSYCHIATRIST
would be available at least 1 day per week (4 to 6 visits per day). Conduct visits at our office in Jacksonville or your own ADA/OSHA-approved office within 10 miles of Jacksonville. There is no treatment, no on-call responsibilities, no scheduling, and no billing necessary on your behalf.
WE COVER LIABILITY INSURANCE
if you are not using your own business office. 2 years physician experience required. Curriculum Vitae (CV) or Resume. MD or DO degree from a regional-accredited university at the time of graduation. Current and unrestricted Florida practitioner's license with no pending criminal case. Complete credentialing applications with additional documents submitted within 48 business hours. Complete required 15-16 hours of VBA video module training plus agency training within 1 wk = $400, within 2 wks = $250. Training completed after 2 wks = $100. Other requirements established by the credentialing and hiring agencies that meet company, local, state, and federal standards or policies.
