Position Summary:
ORTHOPAEDIC TOTAL JOINT SURGEON

LAKE MARY
Florida Orthopaedic Associates is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon with fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction / Total Joint Replacement to join our well-established and growing orthopaedic practice in Central Florida. This is a unique opportunity to step into an established, high-volume joint replacement practice as a long-tenured surgeon transitions toward retirement. The incoming physician will inherit a strong referral base and serve a well-developed patient population in the Lake Mary and Orange City markets. Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat musculoskeletal conditions in an outpatient and/or surgical setting depending on subspecialty. Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, referring providers, and the care team. Collaborate with advanced practice providers (PAs/NPs) and clinical staff to enhance workflow, clinic efficiency, and patient satisfaction. Maintain compliance with FOA policies, clinical protocols, and relevant healthcare regulations (CMS, HIPAA, OSHA). Attend department meetings, educational conferences, and quality improvement initiatives as required. Provide pre- and post-operative care (if applicable to specialty) and participate in surgical procedures as credentialed.
Qualifications:
M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school. Completion of an accredited orthopaedic residency and fellowship (if applicable). Board Certified or Board Eligible in specialty. Active Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain one prior to employment. DEA license in good standing. Commitment to high standards of clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.
Preferred Skills & Attributes:
Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills. Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced clinical environment. Desire to work within a physician-led, multidisciplinary team structure.
