Description Specialization:
Cardiology Heart Failure and Transplant Job Summary:
HCA Florida JFK Hospital is seeking a Board Certified Advanced Heart Failure/General Cardiologist to join our growing cardiovascular team in Palm Beach County, Florida. This psotion is clinically focused in advanced heart failure and mechanical circulatory support (LVAD program.) You will join a collaborative team of two advanced heart failure cardiologists, dedicated APPs, and a full multidisciplinary support staff. With the backing of HCA Healthcare—the nation's largest sponsor of GME programs—this role offers the resources, mentorship culture, and academic prestige to attract top talent and take an already strong program to the next level of excellence.
Clinical Responsibilities:
Inpatient and outpatient advanced heart failure management (2 weeks inpatient, 2 weeks outpatient). Consultative responsibilities, including ICU coverage.
Call schedule:
1:3, supported by advanced practice providers. LVAD program involvement with opportunity to expand advanced therapies. No ER call
Qualified Candidates:
Board Certified in Cardiology with fellowship training in Advanced Heart Failure Eligible for Florida medical licensure. Demonstrated commitment to education, mentorship, and scholarly activity. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
