HCA Healthcare is seeking full-time and PRN Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our team at HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital in Okeechobee, Florida.

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES

Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM) Will consider Board-Certified Family Medicine (ABFM) or Board-Certified Internal Medicine (ABIM) with at least 24 months of current Emergency Medicine experience Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) PRN must be available to work 288 hrs./yr.

EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT 30,000

Emergency Medicine visits per year 14-bed Emergency Department, including 3 fast-track including 2 dedicated trauma rooms Multi-million dollar expansion starting in early spring 2026 adding 11 additional bays, 2 behavioral health safe rooms, dedicated physician workspace 20% admission rate 24 hours of physician coverage 24 hours of APP coverage Active partnership with sister facility in close proximity for Trauma, OB, Neurosurgery, Vascular Surgery and Pediatric support/transfers
