Job Details Chief of Anesthesia to join an incredible team at HCA Florida Woodmont! Highlights of these opportunities include:
Anesthesia Care team consists of 8 Physicians and 4 APP's 7 state-of-the-art ORs with annual surgical volume of 4,000 annually
Case Mix:
General, high volume of regional anesthesia. General, Orthopedic No OB, Cardiac, Trauma and Peds High volume of Regional Great work life balance Medical, dental, vision, short-term/long-term disability,401(k) +match, health savings + more! The Chief of Anesthesiology is a member of the anesthesia staff sharing patient care and call responsibilities in conjunction with leadership and administrative duties. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the Chief position includes, but is not limited to, the following non-clinical duties:
  • Developing a solid, qualified care team of anesthesiologists and certified registered nurse anesthetists and certified anesthesiologist assistant.
  • Supervising departmental staff and providing ongoing evaluation of anesthesia skills and job performance.
  • Fostering a positive collaborative work environment and managing relationships with surgeons, other members of the medical staff, administrative management, hospital staff as well as the anesthesia team.
  • Assuring department compliance with Medical Staff and hospital policies, rules and regulations and Departmental policies and procedures.
