Job Description
Join a mission-driven primary care team focused on the health and development of children from birth through young adulthood. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive pediatric care in a collaborative environment with a strong commitment to prevention, education, and family-centered medicine. Responsibilities Provide preventive and acute care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. Assess growth, development, and overall health at regular visits. Diagnose and manage minor illnesses, chronic conditions, and developmental concerns. Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests as needed. Prescribe medications, immunizations, and other treatments to prevent or manage illness. Educate patients, parents, and guardians on nutrition, hygiene, activity, and disease prevention. Refer patients to specialists when clinically indicated. Document patient care accurately and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and agency guidelines. Collaborate with nurses, assistants, specialists, and other members of the care team. Support health programs, clinical standards, and other duties as assigned. Qualifications MD or DO Completion of a pediatric internship and residency. Current, unrestricted Florida medical license. Board certification in Pediatrics preferred. Bilingual English/Haitian Creole Strong clinical judgment and the ability to make sound decisions within scope of practice. Comfortable working independently and communicating effectively with patients, families, and team members. Proficiency with computer systems, electronic medical records, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
