We are seeking a mission-driven Physician who shares our commitment to compassionate, evidence-based pain care and patient-centered service. Position Summary The Physician will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients experiencing acute and chronic pain conditions using comprehensive, multidisciplinary, and interventional approaches. This role requires strong clinical expertise, empathy, and dedication to improving quality of life for patients and their families. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, histories, and physical examinations Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pain conditions Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans Perform or oversee interventional pain procedures (as credentialed) Prescribe medications and treatment plans responsibly and in compliance with regulatory standards Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to coordinate holistic treatment Educate patients and families on treatment options, prevention, and wellness Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer collaboration Uphold the compassionate, patient-first culture of Florida Pain Physicians Key Procedures Expected to be Performed Epidural steroid injections (cervical, thoracic, lumbar) Caudal, Transforaminal, Facet joint, Medical Branch Block, Sacroiliac, Small/Large Joint Injections Cervical/Thoracic/Lumbar Radiofrequency Ablations Spinal Cord Stimulator (SCS) Trials/Implants Dorsal Root Ganglion (DRG) Stimulation Intrathecal Pain Pump Trials/Implants Sacroiliac Joint Fusion (Minimally Invasive) Minimally Invasive Lumbar Decompression (MILD) Basivertebral Nerve Ablation / OptaBlate Work Schedule Full-time preferred; part-time or contract arrangements considered Primarily outpatient clinical setting Limited or no hospital call depending on arrangement Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience and productivity, with base + commission structure Competitive sign-on bonus Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and CME allowance Malpractice insurance coverage Licensure and professional fee reimbursement Retirement plan options Supportive, collaborative clinical environment focused on physician success and patient outcomes Why Join Florida Pain Physicians Practice in a healing-focused, non-traditional clinical environment Work across multiple North Florida offices serving diverse patient populations Deliver meaningful care that improves quality of life for patients and families Be part of a team culture rooted in kindness, clarity, and respect Benefits Dental insurance Employee assistance program Health insurance Life insurance Malpractice insurance Parental leave Retirement plan Vision insurance Required Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited institution Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Medicine, Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Neurology, or related specialty Active and unrestricted Florida medical license (or ability to obtain) DEA registration and controlled substance prescribing authority
BLS/ACLS
certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days) Strong interpersonal, communication, and clinical decision-making skills Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care Preferred Qualifications Fellowship training in Pain Management or Interventional Spine Experience in outpatient or ambulatory pain practice Proficiency with fluoroscopic or ultrasound-guided procedures Familiarity with modern EHR systems Education Doctorate (Required) License/Certification Medical License (Required) BLS Certification (Required) DEA License (Required)
