Job Description

  • Psychiatry Opening in Georgia
  • Located in Columbus, Georgia
  • About the Position
  • A full-time Adult Psychiatrist is sought to join a hospital-employed behavioral health team in a well-established regional health system. The position is based at a dedicated behavioral and mental health center and offers a balanced inpatient schedule with strong clinical support.
  • 7 on / 7 off schedule
  • Inpatient-only practice
  • Opportunity to supervise Psychiatry residents (GME program)
  • Optional supervision of APPs
  • Focus on adult patient population with exposure to geriatric cases
  • Interest or experience in Geriatric Psychiatry, Addiction Medicine (Suboxone), TMS, or Women's Mental Health is welcomed
  • Practice Setting
  • 376-bed regional health system
  • 84-bed freestanding behavioral health center
  • All facilities located on a single campus for convenience
