Job Description

Join a well-established hospital medicine team in Dublin, GA to provide inpatient coverage in a busy 190-bed community hospital. This locum opportunity offers flexible day and night 12-hour shifts with no call responsibilities and strong interdisciplinary support. What you'll do Deliver comprehensive inpatient care for adult patients, including daily rounds, evaluations, and follow-up Manage acute and chronic medical conditions, coordinate admissions, and develop treatment and discharge plans Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, nursing, and other care team members Document thoroughly and promptly in the EMR to support continuity of care Practice environment
Setting:
Inpatient hospital medicine Hospital size: 190 beds Average daily census: ~110 patients Average daily admissions: 15-20 Typical rounding volume: ~16-18 patients per shift Shift options
Day:
7:00 AM - 7:00
PM Night:
7:00 PM - 7:00 AM No call requirements Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program Board certified PA or NP required Active Georgia license preferred This role is ideal for clinicians experienced in inpatient medicine who thrive in collaborative, high-volume settings and seek flexible scheduling without call duties.
