General Psychiatrist (MD/DO) NANA Healthcare Dunwoody, GA (Metro Atlanta)About NANA Healthcare NANA Healthcare is a growing behavioral health organization committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care across a continuum of mental health services. Our team is dedicated to supporting individuals through evidence-based treatment in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Position Overview NANA Healthcare is seeking a General Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to join our expanding team in Dunwoody, GA. This provider will work with a diverse patient population across the lifespan, with a strong focus on adult mental health, substance use disorders, co-occurring conditions, inpatient management, and outpatient awareness . Experience or interest in eating disorder treatment is highly preferred, as we continue to expand specialized programming in this area.

Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health disorders Develop and manage individualized treatment plans Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications Manage inpatient psychiatric care and coordinate transitions across care settings Maintain awareness of outpatient needs and continuity of care Supervise nurse practitioners and provide clinical guidance as needed Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (therapists, dietitians, nursing staff, etc.) Provide care across varying levels of acuity (inpatient, PHP, IOP, or outpatient as applicable) Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry Active or eligible for Georgia medical license Experience treating adult populations and substance use disorders required Experience with eating disorders strongly preferred Experience in inpatient management and outpatient awareness a plus Ability to work with adolescents and/or broader age ranges is a plus
Compensation & Schedule Salary:
