Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pediatrician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for pediatric healthcare, with extensive clinical experience in managing a wide range of pediatric conditions. As a Pediatrician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical care, conducting thorough examinations, and developing personalized treatment plans to promote the well-being of our young patients. Duties Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments for infants, children, and adolescents. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses across various pediatric specialties, including immunizations and preventive care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including specialists such as endocrinology or cardiology when necessary. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively to document patient encounters and manage medical records securely in compliance with HIPAA standards. Educate families on health maintenance, nutrition, developmental milestones, and disease prevention strategies. Manage inpatient and outpatient cases, ensuring continuity of care through discharge planning and follow-up appointments. Stay current with advancements in pediatric medicine by engaging in ongoing clinical research and professional development activities. Ability to lead new clinical initiatives to promote collaborative and quality-based patient care. Qualifications Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice pediatrics in the state of Georgia. A minimum of 10 years experience in Pediatrics Board certification in Pediatrics from an accredited certifying body. Demonstrated proficiency in using EMR systems such as Epic or similar platforms for patient documentation. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and healthcare team members. Prior experience working in a leadership capacity is preferred but not mandatory.
