Locums About the Facility A facility in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking a locum tenens Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist to assist with clinic coverage on an ongoing basis beginning in September. The facility maintains established diagnostic capabilities and workflow management systems to support efficient case processing and timely diagnostic reporting. Candidates must be board certified and hold an active Georgia medical license to be considered for this assignment. About the Facility Location Atlanta offers a range of attractions, including the Georgia Aquarium, the Atlanta Botanical Garden, and the Atlanta History Center. Cultural institutions such as the National Center for Civil and Human Rights and the World of Coca-Cola are also accessible within the city. Centennial Olympic Park and the Children's Museum of Atlanta are situated in proximity to one another, and the Doll's Head Trail at Constitution Lakes presents a distinctive outdoor experience for those seeking recreation. About the Clinician's Workday The anatomic and clinical pathologist will provide diagnostic pathology services Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with coverage beginning in September on a one-week-per-month basis. The daily case volume consists of 110 to 120 CP sign-outs per day, which are fully prepped and estimated to require 4 to 5 hours; the remainder of the day is dedicated to AP cases. Case types include signing out serum protein electrophoresis, serum protein immunofixation, urine protein electrophoresis, and urine protein immunofixation. Grossing and frozen sections are not required, and no call responsibilities are associated with this assignment.
