Job Description
Internal Medicine Physicians (BC/BE) Caduceus is seeking Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physicians to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) at the Tyler Centennial VA Clinic. This contract supports direct patient care services for our nation's veterans in a structured, high-quality clinical environment. Physicians will provide comprehensive internal medicine services, ensuring adherence to VA clinical standards, patient safety protocols, and continuity of care. This is a long-term federal contract opportunity with stability and the ability to make a direct impact on veteran health outcomes.

Monday through Friday, 08:00 am to 4:30 pm Central Time.Clinic or Schedule:
Patients must be seen by a contractor's physician(s) on-site at facility in a timely manner in accordance with VA Rules and Regulations on clinic wait times and consultation completion. Base Year + Four (4)Option Years Requirements:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) Shall be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related specialty, certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) within 4 years of completing training. Active unrestricted medical license (any U.S. state or territory) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Ability to obtain and maintain VA credentialing and privileging Strong clinical knowledge and adherence to evidence-based standards Ability to work within a federal healthcare system and a multidisciplinary team Must pass a background investigation and comply with all VA onboarding requirements ActiveDEA & NPI
•Contractor shall provide a copy of current DEA certificate in Texas, where services will be provided under this contract. Duties and Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: Provide comprehensive primary and/or specialty care to VA patients Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of medical conditions Develop and manage treatment plans in accordance with VA standards Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) Ensure all care meets 100% compliance with clinical standards and scope of practice Participate in patient safety and quality assurance activities, including reporting incidents within required timelines Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and support staff to ensure coordinated care Adhere to VA policies regarding credentialing, privileging, and clinical practice Maintain current licensure, certifications, and required documentation at all times Ensure timely patient access by maintaining punctuality and schedule adherence #CBSimilar jobs in Macon, GA
