Overview:

A 155-bed community-based teaching hospital in Southwest Georgia is seeking a full-time Anesthesiology/Critical Care Physician to join a dynamic and well-established anesthesia team. The position offers a unique blend of anesthesiology and critical care responsibilities, with strong multidisciplinary support and modern facilities.

Position Highlights Schedule:

26 weeks on / 26 weeks off (typically 7 on / 7 off, flexible by agreement with the anesthesia team)

Coverage:

Two anesthesiologists scheduled per shift; supervise

CRNAs and AAs Call:

Required during scheduled weeks; includes critical care call and anesthesiology backup

ICU:

10-bed open unit; consult-only model partnering with pulmonology and critical care physicians for daily rounds

Technology:

New Mindray anesthesia machines, Glidescope for emergency airways, Belmont rapid infusers, and modern ultrasound systems

Facilities:

6 OR suites and 2 endoscopy suites within a state-of-the-art surgical department
