Description Gynecologic Oncology

• Physician SGMC Health is the most comprehensive health system serving South Georgia and North Florida.

SGMC Health operates four hospitals across Lowndes, Berrien, and Lanier counties. The system also operates ambulance services, an extensive medical office network, a cancer center, hospice facility, retirement center, skilled nursing facility, imaging centers and urgent cares. Service lines of regional prominence include heart and vascular, stroke, trauma, cancer, orthopedics, surgery, and women and infants.

Position Description:

• Full-time
• Monday
• Thursday, 8 a.m.
• 5 p.m.
• Friday, 8 a.m.
• 12 noon
• EMR is Epic
• APP Support
• Hospital based employment

Qualifications:

• Completion of an ACGME Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency
• Completion of an ACGME Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship
• Board eligible/certified by the American Board of Gynecologic Oncology
• Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Georgia
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within an inter-disciplinary team and with referring physicians to provide high quality patient care
• Passionate about quality, service excellence, safety, process improvement, program development and team building.
• Possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
