Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Practice Provider to deliver comprehensive primary care services in a dynamic healthcare environment, with an eye to taking over this practice in a year. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients across all ages, providing preventive care, diagnosing illnesses, managing chronic conditions, and coordinating treatment plans. Your expertise will ensure patients receive high-quality, patient-centered care that promotes health and well-being. This position offers an exciting opportunity to impact lives positively while working within a collaborative team committed to excellence. Responsibilities Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and diagnostic evaluations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions, utilizing evidence-based practices. Administer injections, including immunizations and botulinum toxin treatments, following aseptic techniques and safety protocols. Manage urgent care cases such as acute pain management, triage of emergency situations, and stabilization of critically ill patients. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently. Coordinate with specialists for referrals, including infectious disease care, hospice & palliative medicine, or hospital-based services such as ICU or Level I Trauma Center cases. Engage in patient education and health coaching to promote lifestyle modifications and preventive health strategies. Participate in clinical research or clinical trials when applicable to advance medical knowledge and improve patient outcomes. Requirements Valid medical license with certification in family medicine or internal medicine; board certification preferred. Proven experience with EMR systems such as Epic, Intergy, or eClinicalWorks; familiarity with
ICD-10/ICD-9
coding is essential. Demonstrated skills in suturing, injection administration, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluation Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, CPT coding for procedures, and HIPAA compliance standards. Ability to perform triage effectively in outpatient or urgent care environments while managing acute pain and infectious disease cases. Excellent patient care skills with a focus on compassionate communication and teamwork within multidisciplinary settings.
