We are seeking a Physician to join our busy, rural, well-established primary care clinic affiliated with Boone County Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Physician who enjoys caring for a diverse patient population in a collaborative, team-based environment.
Position Highlights:
Full time position (40 hours per week) Practice in a rural clinic affiliated with a Critical Access Hospital Broad scope of practice with a diverse patient population across the lifespan Strong teamwork with physicians, nursing, and care team members Dragon voice recognition and AI-assisted documentation tools to reduce charting burden and support work-life balance Community-focused practice where providers are truly valued Compensation and Benefits:

Provide comprehensive primary care services including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care Conduct patient histories, physical exams, diagnosis, and treatment planning Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests Prescribe medications and manage ongoing care Collaborate closely with physicians and interprofessional team members Shared call coverage to provide inpatient care Utilize Dragon and AI documentation tools to support efficient, high-quality clinical documentation Qualifications:
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Practice or Internal Medicine M.D. or D.O. U.S.
Citizen or Green Card Holder American Medical Graduate or Foreign Medical Graduate Current (or ability to obtain) state licensure in the state of Iowa CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain) Primary care experience is preferred, but new graduates with strong interest in primary care are encouraged to apply. 2026 and 2027 Residents are being considered Why Join Us?
