Emergency Medicine opening in Fort Dodge, IA 1 hour from
Des Moines Job Description:
Current providers: 4 Physicians and 5 APPs Competitive compensation and benefits package Experienced staff Onsite services (CT, MRI, x-ray, lab, etc.) Level 4 Trauma Center Life Flight 24/7 Cardiac Cath Services 24/7 Hospitalist Program 24/7 Hospital Duties include responding to in-house cardiac/respiratory arrests, including peds and OB/nursery No Call Flexible Scheduling Fully integrated system with clinics and Hospitals on
EPIC EMR
to improve care coordination New fully equipped
Emergency Department Responsibilities:
Twelve 12 hour shifts per month Clinical Shift Hours = 7:30a 7:30p, 7:30p 7:30a
Department Staffing Model:
Tuesday
  • Friday = 1 Physician & 1 APP (11:30a
  • 9:30p) Saturday
  • Monday = 1 Physician & 2 APP's (10a
  • 8p & 2p
  • 12a) Average # of patients/day = 60 Annual visit volume = 20,000 Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills Improve the health of the people and communities we serve
Qualifications:
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (must become board certified within 5 years) Eligible to work in the United States Hold a current and unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa Ability to work as a team member and leader About the
