This position provides interventional cardiology services within a multispecialty medical group. The role includes inpatient and outpatient care, peripheral interventional procedures, and collaboration with a comprehensive cardiovascular team in a hospital affiliated environment.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide interventional and general cardiology care Perform peripheral interventional procedures (non structural) Conduct evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and ongoing management Collaborate with interventionalists, non invasive cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, vascular surgeons, and electrophysiologists Participate in call rotation Support a growing regional outreach program Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EMR and AI enabled tools Participate in teaching opportunities for medical students and residents Support quality and performance improvement initiativesREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Physician with qualifications in Cardiology Fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology Board Certified or Board EligiblePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in peripheral interventions Interest in working within a multispecialty cardiovascular teamCOMPETENCIES
Clinical expertise in interventional cardiology Strong diagnostic and procedural skills Effective communication with patients and multidisciplinary teams Professionalism and ethical clinical practice Ability to work collaboratively within a hospital affiliated environmentCLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide interventional cardiology services across inpatient and outpatient settings Perform peripheral interventional procedures Manage a broad range of cardiovascular conditions Collaborate with hospital services including interventional radiology, critical care, and hospitalist teams Utilize Epic EMR and AI scribe technology to support workflow efficiencyADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in departmental operations as assigned Support academic and educational initiativesWORK SETTING & ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment:
Hospital; Outpatient; Clinic/Private Practice; Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Inpatient and outpatient cardiology practice Peripheral interventional procedures (mapped to ASC per system rules) Multispecialty cardiovascular team Hospital with ICU, trauma services, and specialty supportSCHEDULE & CALL REQUIREMENTS
