Psychiatry Job Summary:
Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center is seeking a BE/BC Adult Psychiatrist to support their 74-bed free-standing facility in Idaho Falls, Idaho. We would also consider a Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist who would be ready to lead in a high-impact setting. Mentor psychiatry residents in our robust general psychiatry residency program, tackling complex cases and helping expand mental health services in our community and beyond.
Qualified Candidates:
+ Board certified or board eligible in general psychiatry + Idaho licensure and DEA + Open to J-1 Visa candidates + 7 on 7 off Schedule + Accepting 2026 candidates

About Behavioral Health Center:
+ 37 adult beds, 37 child & adolescent beds + Average caseload 12-14 patients per day + Call rotation 1:4 + Average stay 7-8 days + In-patient, outpatient, and ECT work available
About Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center:
+ The largest medical facility in the region, Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center ( EIRMC ) is a full-service hospital with 318 patient beds. It serves as the region's healthcare hub, serving southeast Idaho, western Wyoming, Yellowstone National Park, and parts of Montana. + EIRMC is home to a Level II Trauma Center, a Level 1 ICU (of only two in Idaho), and the only Burn Center in the state of Idaho.
