Locum Tenens Opportunity:
General Medicine Physician Near Nampa, ID We are seeking a General Medicine Physician for a locum tenens role near Nampa, ID. This position involves performing Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams and Separation Health Assessments to assist veterans. The position is PRN-based and ongoing, providing flexibility to match your availability. Compensation & Pension (C&P)Exams:
Conduct one-time, non-treatment exams and separation health assessments for veterans. Exams are primarily interview-based , with some physical assessment (e.g., range of motion and muscle strength testing). No prescribing or ongoing treatment required.Coverage Options:
Option 1: Travel and perform exams at a designated leased facility. Option 2: Schedule veterans within your own practice. Work either half-days (4-hour shifts) or full-days (8-hour shifts) depending on your availability.Qualifications:
Board Certification:
Required in Family Medicine , Internal Medicine , Orthopedic Surgery , or other general medicine backgrounds.Proficiency in:
Musculoskeletal conditions, diabetes, and cardiovascular evaluations. METs testing and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions. Experience using a goniometer for physical assessments.Certification Requirements:
Board Certified physician. Active and unrestricted medical license in Idaho. Willingness to complete DMA certification (CME credits available). This certification is necessary after privileging, though expenses for DMA certification and portal training are not covered.Benefits:
