Job Description Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon Twin Falls, Idaho About SAMGI Surgical Affiliates Management Group (SAMGI) is a physician-led surgicalist group partnering with hospitals nationwide to provide Trauma, Acute Care Surgery, Orthopedic Trauma, and Surgical Critical Care services. We support our physicians with strong clinical teams, operational infrastructure, and a collaborative practice environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care. Position Overview SAMGI is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join our team at St. Luke's Magic Valley Hospital in Twin Falls, Idaho. This position provides dedicated orthopedic trauma coverage at a Level III Trauma Center and offers an opportunity to work alongside experienced surgeons, Advanced Practice Providers, and hospital leadership in a well-established trauma program. Position Details Full-time employed position Level III Trauma Center 100% Orthopedic Trauma Surgery Flexible schedule consisting of approximately 10 shifts per month Dedicated APP support Established referral network and trauma program No billing or coding responsibilities Responsibilities Provide orthopedic trauma call coverage Evaluate and manage orthopedic trauma patients in the emergency department and inpatient setting Perform operative management of traumatic orthopedic injuries Collaborate with trauma surgeons, APPs, hospital staff, and consulting services Participate in quality improvement and trauma program initiatives Maintain timely documentation and communication with care teams Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery Current or recent Orthopedic Trauma experience required Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship preferred but not required Eligible for Idaho medical licensure Strong communication and teamwork skills Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation package Performance-based incentive opportunity Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan CME allowance Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Physician-led practice environment About Twin Falls Twin Falls is located in southern Idaho's Magic Valley region and offers a high quality of life, affordable cost of living, and access to year-round outdoor recreation.
