Videos Duties Help The Physician Assistant will work in the Ambulory Care service and in the provision of pient care and will perform the following duties: Admission, history and physical, diagnostic gender-specific examinions. Review charts. Interact with physician(s) outside the VA. Demonstres leadership and works collaborively with Primary Care Team and other interdisciplinary team members. Develops and implements an individualized plan to achieve optimal populion health and disease management. All orders, progress notes, consultion requests, and history and physician examinions which are written by the PA will clearly be identified as such in the written or electronic medical records. Ordering diagnostic studies, such as laborory tests, X-rays, mammograms. Inities referrals and consults to specialty services. Provides educion and counseling of pients and families in preventive care, medical conditions, and use of prescribed trements and drugs.
