(VIR Chicago) is currently seeking a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their current practice of 10 Physicians and 7 Advanced Practice Providers in the southwest suburbs.

Daily responsibilities would include:

Inpatient daily rounding, including seeing consultations and writing progress notes Placing routine orders, including medications, imaging, and pertinent labs Coordinate treatment plans with the supervising physician(s) and other members of the patient's health care team Performing various ultrasound and fluoroscopic procedures, including but not limited to: paracentesis, thoracentesis, central venous access, tunneled and nontunneled hemodialysis catheter placements, port placement and removal, PICC placements, thyroid biopsies, chest tubes, and pleurX catheter placements. Requirements Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program NCCPA or

AANP/ANCC

certified BLS and ACLS certified Current DEA license Hours are Monday through Friday, 8-4:30. 1:8 Weekend Coverage. Your weekend coverage is a shifted work week, not additional days worked.
