Position Summary Aunt Martha's is seeking a Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or IM-PEDS Physician to provide high-quality patient care while supporting effective clinic operations within a community health setting. This role provides comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages within the provider's scope of training. Responsibilities include preventive care, immunizations, diagnosis and treatment, women's health services, family planning, prenatal services, nutrition counseling, physical examinations, STD screenings, and health education. Providers may work across multiple clinic locations based on organizational needs. Clinic schedules include one evening shift per week and 1-2 Saturdays per month. This role may also include supervising Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners, as well as training resident physicians and healthcare interns/externs. Key Responsibilities Provide continuous, comprehensive primary care services according to current standards of care Conduct patient evaluations, histories, physical exams, and follow-up care Diagnose illnesses and prescribe medications and treatment plans Order, review, and interpret diagnostic testing and lab work Administer vaccinations and preventive care services Educate patients on disease prevention and health maintenance Maintain accurate medical records, documentation, and clinical reports Support organizational quality initiatives and patient satisfaction goals Collaborate with clinical leadership, care teams, and operational staff Supervise advanced practice providers and support training initiatives as needed Complete all required compliance and Core Curriculum trainings Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Education & Training Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school Completion of Internship and Accredited Residency Program required Licensure & Certifications Current and unrestricted Illinois Medical License Current DEA Certificate Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or IM-PEDS Current driver's license and auto insurance required Providers must maintain all required certifications and CME requirements Experience Experience aligned within scope of training Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) preferred Preferred Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage complex patient care situations Strong communication and documentation skills Commitment to patient-centered care and customer service Professionalism, ethics, and respect for diverse populations Ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary healthcare teams Compensation & Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance J-1 Sponsorship Support Malpractice and Tail Coverage $2,000 CME Allowance + 5 Paid CME Days 3 Weeks Paid Vacation Increases to 4 Weeks after Year 4 3 Paid Summer Days 1 Paid Wellness Day 5 Paid Sick Days 11 Paid Holidays Short-Term and Long-Term Disability 403(b) Retirement Plan Loan Forgiveness through NHSC and other state programs Aunt Martha's is an equal opportunity employer.
