  • Part-time Physician MD/DO Responsibilities Overview We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Physician to join our healthcare team.
This position is well-suited for physicians seeking a flexible, reduced-hour schedule and a supportive outpatient practice environment while continuing to provide high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent patient communication skills, and a collaborative approach to healthcare. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, managing follow-up care, and working closely with the clinical team to support positive patient outcomes. This role is intended for providers seeking a consistent long-term part-time schedule. Candidates should be able to maintain reliable availability and continuity of care for patients. Due to scheduling and operational considerations, outside clinical commitments that may create conflicts of interest or interfere with scheduling availability will be reviewed during the hiring process. Experience in outpatient medicine, primary care, internal medicine, family medicine, geriatrics, or urgent care is preferred. Duties Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments for patients of all ages. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations. Perform diagnostic evaluations, including ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and imaging studies. Administer medications, injections, and other treatments as needed. Provide education and counseling to patients regarding health management, disease prevention, and wellness. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in various settings such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, assisted living facilities, and home care environments. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Participate in clinical research initiatives as needed. Manage acute pain management strategies and provide care for chronic conditions. Engage in telehealth consultations when appropriate. Experience Candidates should have experience or knowledge in the following areas: Epic or E-clinical Works (will be trained) Internal medicine practices Medical office experience with emphasis on patient care Emergency medicine or urgent care settings Behavioral health and geriatrics Experience administering injections, phlebotomy, venipuncture, catheterization, and suturing Knowledge of CPT coding, ICD-10 coding standards Familiarity with hospice & palliative medicine principles Proficiency in physical examinations and vital signs assessment Understanding of infection control measures and aseptic techniques We encourage candidates with diverse backgrounds in healthcare to apply.
