Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a BE/BC Pediatric Endocrinologist to join a specialized team in northern Illinois. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the care of children and adolescents with endocrine disorders in a community-based outpatient practice with consultative inpatient coverage. Practice Highlights Collaboration with experienced pediatric subspecialists and access to broad regional resources. On-site certified diabetes educators, clinical dietitians, and clinical pharmacists with pediatric expertise. Newly renovated, state-of-the-art clinic equipped for advanced endocrine and diabetes care. Access to an ADA-recognized diabetes education program with dedicated RN and RD educators. Built-in referral base from the regions leading primary care provider network. Extended support from pediatric specialists in Madison, Wisconsin. Academic appointment and teaching opportunities available through the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford. Education MD or DO required. License/Certifications Active DEA license, or ability to apply for one prior to or upon hire, required. Active Illinois medical license required. Board Certification or Board Eligible in Endocrinology required. Board certification must be obtained within 5 years if board eligible. Bi-annual CPR certification preferred. Benefits Competitive salary range based on experience: $252,424 - $290,274. Generous vacation and CME benefits. Potential opportunity for additional compensation.
