$265,000.00 - $310,000.00 per year This job location is not currently located in a Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSAs) and/or Medically Underserved Areas/Populations (MUA/P) Shortage Designation Type. What You Will Do Ascension Illinois is looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician for our Family Medicine Department. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension Illinois to provide medical services to patients.
Position Highlights:
100% outpatient Full-spectrum Family Medicine Patient friendly hours, 1 Saturday per month and 1 evening per week See kids-adults Very busy Family Medicine Practice Nice mix of patients and cases MA support Excellent office support staff for other clinical tasks Great Northwest Suburban location
Responsibilities:
Provide medical services to patients in an assigned area. Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills. Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients. Participate in academic programs (e.g. medical education and research) as requested. Provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner. Opportunity to participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules. Registration:
Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
