Job DescriptionNorthwestern Medicine is actively seeking a BE/BC Wound Care Physician to join our team in the western suburbs of Chicago. Residency trained in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, General Surgery, or related specialty. Responsibilities of this position will include evaluating patients for hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO) and supervise HBO treatments as indicated.
Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in wound care, wound management, or a related setting. Proficiency in sharp debridement and standard wound care procedures. Strong knowledge of CMS wound care billing, coding, and documentation standards. Familiarity with biologics and advanced skin substitute application.
