Job description Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation is seeking a Pediatric Rehabilitation Physician to join our team. We are affiliated with Totally Kids which offers outstanding rehabilitation services for infants, children, adolescents and young adults up to 21 years of age. We offer first-class care in a family-friendly environment with board-certified physicians and specially trained staff ensuring that each child's medical needs are met with expertise, compassion and respect. Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group is affiliated with Loma Linda University Medical Center, Children's Hospital and School of Medicine, with the mission to deliver whole-person care at a world-class level of clinical excellence. The Medical Center serves as the largest tertiary referral source in both Riverside and San Bernardino counties with a surrounding population approaching 4 million. As a Seventh-day Adventist organization, our mission is to follow the healing and teaching ministry of Jesus Christ 'to make man whole.' Inpatient acute rehab for ages 0 to 21. Including a new program for infants that are coming out of the NICU with feeding difficulty, delayed milestones, anxiety with handling, Outpatient practice: currently largely involving CP, spasticity management (ITB and Botulinum), but potential for more involvement in the multidisciplinary clinics, including the Home Ventilator clinic (SMA, MD, Severe CP), Hypertonicity/SDR clinic, Spina Bifida, high-risk infant program, and Muscular Dystrophy clinic.
Education:
PMR residency program teaching opportunities. There is support within the department of PMR for faculty to pursue research. The new Totally Infants' Program at Totally Kids has the potential for multiple projects which are in the works already.Call:
Likely participation in on-call pool for Adult Inpatient Rehab units/teams, dependent on availability and necessity. This could be flexible for a new-hire. The compensation range listed is for starting base compensation only and is adjusted based upon years of experience and/or faculty rank: $210,000 - $250,000.
