Company Description Directed Rehabilitation Services is dedicated to providing outstanding medical care in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation in various environments, including Acute Rehabilitation Hospitals and Skilled Nursing Facilities. Job Description We are currently seeking a Physician Assistant to join our growing team. The PA will provide comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients with various physical and functional impairments. This is weekends only, every weekend.
Malpractice Covered :
Full malpractice insurance is provided by the company.
No Call :
Zero overnight or on-call responsibilities; your time is entirely your own once your shift ends.
Flexible Hours :
Flexible daily hours 1099 or W2 Qualifications Current Indiana license Physician Assistant Experience in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R), Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pain Management, Family Medicine, Other. Current DEA licensure Highly relationship oriented and ability to passionately serve patients in acute and sub acute care settings. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive assessments for patients to determine functional abilities, limitations, and needs. Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes. Order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures. Adjust treatment plans as necessary. Review current symptoms and identifying diagnosis to be used in care management and active medical management of treatment. High patient satisfaction and improved health status including reduced hospitalization and ER visits. Critical thinking to address patient needs, providing the appropriate resources and follow-up care to improve stability. Educating patients on topics such as disease process, medication, and compliance. Comply with all HIPAA regulations and maintain security of protected health information.

$625.00 per day
