Job Description

Franciscan Health Crown Point 12750 S Francis Dr Crown Point, Indiana 46307 A physician is an ideal Franciscan candidate who has a strong focus on compassionate clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. The candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community, and build long-lasting relationships with patients and their families. The Physician will need to work collaboratively with existing medical staff to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Ensure EMR charting and documentation are completed accurately, and patient records are up-to-date. Oversee the supervision of medical assistants, nursing staff, and other office staff in the context of clinical practice. Make diagnoses and decisions about the management and treatment of patients. Prescribe therapy or medication for the treatment of patient conditions. Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests, and interpret their results. Perform therapeutic procedures, such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and infection management. Qualifications Required Doctorate MD/DO Physician License (DR)
  • State Licensing Board Board Certification in Specialty Discipline (or eligibility if appropriate)

  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • American Heart Association
