InpatientSeeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Adult Hospitalists to join a well-established hospital medicine program in Elkart, Indiana. Join a collaborative, high-performing team delivering comprehensive inpatient care across a broad spectrum of medical complexity.
Position Highlights:
Join a team of 34+ adult hospitalists and 4 advanced practice providersCare for a diverse patient population with wide-ranging medical conditions and complex pathologiesClose collaboration with surgery, intensive care, trauma, and other specialties24/7 ICU coverageDedicated procedural support from Interventional RadiologySeparation of call and rounding shifts to minimize interruptionsNo responsibility for Code Blue, RAT Call, or Code StrokeHigh patient satisfaction and low provider turnoverCollegial, stable, and supportive work culture
Work Schedule:
Clustered shift model promoting flexibility and work/life balance7-on/7-off schedule availableApproximately 183 shifts per year for full-time providersMix of day and night shifts9- or 10-hour shifts (not traditional 12-hour shifts)Inpatient team manages new consults and follow-ups, allowing providers to leave on time when not on hospital rotation
Qualifications:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family MedicineEligible for Indiana medical licensureStrong clinical skills and collaborative approachCommitment to high-quality, patient-centered inpatient care
