Schedule:
one week on and two weeks off, approx. 17.3 work weeks annually. The rotation in scheduled hours every worked week between the three shifts: (12p
- 12a) Admitting shift, (4p
- 4a) Admitting shift, (7p
- 7a) Cross cover, in coordination with a rounding
APP. 10-14
admits per shift. Scribe assistance during admitting shifts. Working with family medicine residents overnight Hospitalist team totals 30 Physicians. 9 Advance Practice Providers Acute care with abundant subspeciality consults, suburban setting, adult population, closed ICU, provide telehealth coverage for IU White and Frankfort Hospital. Respond to all codes and RRTs. Experience with procedures and intubations highly preferred. Collegial medical staff Opportunity to work with medical students from IU School of Medicine West Lafayette Campus.
Qualifications:
Residency training in Internal Medicine Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine Physician licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana Benefits include: Occurrence-Based Malpractice Medical, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance
