We Are Hiring Specialty:
Hospitalist Schedule:
PRN; Pick up weekend shifts every 5-6 weeks; Weekend Shift is Friday 5pm through Monday 7am
Call Schedule:
On call during weekend shift; Rounding is conducted Saturday and Sunday at 8am; Physician is on-call from Friday 5pm through Monday 7am
Practice Detail:
provides a wide range of hospital services, including general and laparoscopic outpatient surgery, comprehensive diagnostic clinical tests and medical imaging for acute or emergency care, physical therapy, respiratory care, nutritional support and education, GYN services, OP infusions, and swing bed program.

St. Vincent Williamsport at 412 North Monroe Street in Williamsport, Indiana This job location is currently located in a Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) and/or Medically Underserved Areas/Populations (MUA/P) Shortage Designation Type. What You Will Do Provide medical services to patients in an assigned area. Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills. Coordinate discharge planning with case management. Recommend, participate in, and work to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients. Accept patient referrals from other physicians. Act as admitting, attending and/or consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses, depending on needs of patients, medical staff and hospital. Participate in academic programs (eg medical education and research) as requested. Provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner. Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules. Registration:
Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Verified by local credentialing office. Education:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
